A very short tip on the very long Morning Jog

When all the fun from the camp is over, and the lessons start, so will Morning Jog. *shudders*

In St. Nicks, all four levels will have morning jogs, albeit on different days. Morning Jog is a weekly ritual, in which the whole cohort runs together on the track right after morning assembly. Three rounds around the track. If it's raining, the whole cohort will run up all four flights of stairs at the extension block.

1) No matter what you do, do not, or try not to stop jogging. If you do, the PE teachers watching from the spectators' stand will get mad and start yelling. If too many people stop jogging, the whole cohort will be made to run again.

2) Treat the jog seriously. Do not run holding hands, giggling, or talking. The teachers can see. And if they get mad, you'll all get a huge lecture after wards.

3) Don't sprint when you start the jog. It'll wear you out. Run really, really slowly at first, without stopping, then towards the end of the last round, sprint towards the end of torture.

4) Bring water on morning jog days. You'll need it! O_O

5) Even though it sounds really brutal, don't hate anyone for it, because what the PE teachers want is to make us fit and healthy. :D You might even learn to like it! (Like me. It feels so great when you cross that line and you can finally stop running and you look at everyone behind you, and you think, I ran three rounds without stopping.)

Told ya it was a short tip! :D

May the wind rise under your wings!
