Dear Sec Ones of 2009,

First of all, I want to wish you all the best in surviving St. Nicks. Though seriously, there won't be many serious problems, because we're not the only ones that're going to help you. You're gonna have all your other jie jie men, and the PSLs, fellow classmates.

You'll make new friends, have fun, study a bit. And on the way make sure you don't lose yourself, be sure of who you are, never ever give in to peer pressure. We don't know what might happen next year, but we sure know it's going to be the last year we're going to spend in the old St. Nicks campus for a long while, so treasure all you've got.

If you ever feel lost, you can come to UGGSS for help!

Secondly, we'd like to thank all the juniors who'd replied to our tags and supported this blog, gave your feedback, added us on msn, thanked us for what we're doing. For me, I've learnt a lot through this blog, seen different people's reactions, felt happy, grew a little more confident of setting this up. You guys rock. Thank you too.

Both of us have been amazed at how much UGGSS worked for all of you. We first created it to help new juniors survive, but it turned out that new friendships forged on this blog, and existing St. Nicks girls begin to reminiscence on all her past years in St. Nicholas as she reads our survival guide. We both hope this guide will continue to dazzle and influence everyone that chances upon this. :)

We know as your work load gradually wraps you up like a cocoon, you'll all forget to visit this blog, and very soon this will be neglected, either by us, or by you. But we won't be sad, because gradually you'll emerge from your cocoon as beautiful butterflies, with nobody to cut your cocoons open prematuredly, because St. Nicks do things thoroughly and makes sure you grow in the right direction.

Banish all doubts and fears away, dear mei mei, because new friends will find you, and even if you're pretty much a loner in class, perhaps you'll find someone too.

Less than two days left to School. Loosen your belts, iron your pinafores.

Let the new year begin.

Yours Sincerely,

The Guide Writers '09 (St. Nicks Girl 1, St. Nicks Girl 2)
